  1. How do I request a Quote?

    • In order to request a quote, you may fill out our online quote form.
    • You may also give us a call directly at (626)357-3447 for submission instructions.
  2. What do I need to include when requesting a quote?

    • MS Excel Bill of Materials (BOM)
    • Drawing (as an image or pdf)
    • Gerber/CAD data
  3. What if I don't have everything I need when requesting a quote?

    • While we require at least information regarding the type of assembly you are ordering, if you do not provide any further file information, we will request the appropriate data from you via the email or phone number you provided on the form.
  4. How can I make a general question or inquiry?

    • Feel free to use our online contact form for all of your general purpose questions

  5. How will Accu-sembly ship my order?

    • Depending on your proximity to our Duarte, California facility, we may be able to ship your order to you directly.
    • You may also opt to come in and pick up the order yourself.
    • Otherwise we utilize UPS services for all of our shipping.
  6. What package sizes are supported (SMT)?

    • Our equipment is capable of handling 01005, QFP, BGA, and micro-BGA up to 1.8" square.
    • Vision systems go down to 12 mil pitch QFP's.
  7. What types of feeders does Accu-sembly use?

    • We are able to feed parts via tape, stick, or tray.
  8. Are there any requirements for PCB's?

    • Yes, we require that a pair of fiducial marks between 0.04" and 0.08" in diameter be incorporated into the PCB. They should be located at opposite corners of the board, and should have no other reflective features within 0.20" of them.
  9. Which fiducials are required?

    • We only require opposite corner fiducials.
    • Any local fiducials or otherwise may exist, as long as the opposite corner fiducials are present.
  10. What SMT equipment does Accu-sembly utilize?

    • Accu-sembly currently uses nine Assembleon pick and place machines, giving us the flexibility to accomodate both large scale and small production runs.
    • We have Opal XII, Sapphire XII, MG1, and Topaz X lines.
  11. How many boards min/max can be run SMT?

    • Accu-sembly is capable of handling both your large scale and small-Prototype production runs. Whether you need just a few prototypes or 10,000+ boards, we are able to accomodate you.
  12. Can Accu-sembly deal with non-washable components?

    • Yes, we are able to use special no-clean flux chemistry for these types of assemblies.
  13. Would I be able to have my boards individually labelled?

    • Accu-sembly can provide labels via our thermal label system, complete with serial numbers, assembly revisions, and even bar codes. Our team will place the labels on each individual board for you before shipment, for your convenience.
  14. Does Accu-sembly do modifications?

    • Yes, in most cases we are able to modify your existing assemblies. Note that we generally perform this as a service to accompany your full production runs.
  15. How do Design for Manufacturability (DFM) services work?

    • As a service to you, we are able to look at your assemblies and give consulting on how to manufacture your products more efficiently. Available upon request.
  16. How many parts can Accu-sembly supply for my order?

    • We are able to supply as many or as little parts as you need to complete your order.
    • Accu-sembly can even provide all of the parts for an assembly.
  17. Where will my parts be stored after I order them?

    • Your parts will be stored in our ESD controlled facility, at the same site as our production lines.
